Description |
The 232-acre property is comprised of two parcels
of land situated in the Texas Hill Country northwest of the city
of San Antonio in Bexar County, Texas. The property is located
just south of Bandera Road/State Highway 16 (SH 16), and enjoys
pristine views of the hill country.
The first parcel, 24 acres, was purchased on
September 22, 2005 by BP Real Estate Investments, Ltd. It was then
purchased on October 10, 2006 by BP 232 Helotes, Ltd., along with
208 acres purchased from a third party.
The property is adjacent to the Good Horse Canyon and Shadow
Canyon developments, as well as the Government Canyon State
Natural Area. The Oak Valley Golf Course is due north of the
subject property on the north side of SH 16.

Development Status |
The property is being developed as two distinct
units: the 208 acres and the 24 acres. Most of the infrastructure
of the development is in place, having been started by a prior
developer. Thus, water, sewer, and utilities are already on site.
The preliminary development plan has been submitted and approved.
In the 208-acre portion, the preliminary land plan
calls for 431 lots in four sizes: 60-ft, 70-ft, 80-ft, and 90-ft.
All are currently available. In the 24-acre unit, one homebuilder
has all 57 lots under contract.
